Privacy Policy

Effective Date: September 1, 2026 · Last Updated: September 22, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Pinfluencing LLC (“Pinfluence,” “Pinfluencing,” “we,” “us,” or “our“) collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you visit pinfluencing.com or use the Pinfluence Discover, Pinfluence Intel, and Pinfluence Pipeline applications, the Pinfluence browser extension, memberships, or any related services (collectively, the “Services“).

We treat privacy as a baseline operating principle, not a compliance afterthought. Where this Policy says we “may” do something with your data, we mean it as a description of what’s permitted under your subscription, not what we routinely do.

1. Who we are

Pinfluencing LLC is a New York limited liability company. Our public-facing brand is “Pinfluence.” Our products are Pinfluence Discover (keyword research), Pinfluence Intel (analytics protection and pin monitoring), Pinfluence Pipeline (a pin composer for staging pins and their images before you publish them on Pinterest), the Pinfluence browser extension, and Pinfluence memberships.

For privacy questions or to exercise your rights under this Policy, contact us at info@pinfluencing.com.

2. Information we collect

2.1 Information you give us directly

  • Account information. Name, email address, password (hashed), business name (if provided), and any profile information you fill in.
  • Sign-in via Google. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile image from Google. We never receive your Google password.
  • Community content. Posts, replies, and profile details you share if you join a Pinfluence community space.
  • Payment information. When you subscribe, you submit payment details to our payment processor (ThriveCart, which uses Stripe and/or PayPal). We do not store your full credit card or bank account details on our servers. We store a record of your subscription, billing status, and the last four digits of your payment method as provided by ThriveCart.
  • Communications. Messages you send us through the contact form, email, or community channels.
  • Pinterest® analytics CSV uploads (Intel users). When you upload a CSV to Pinfluence Intel, we collect the data in that CSV: pin URLs, board names, impressions, clicks, saves, dates, and other fields included in your Pinterest export.
  • Pins and images you stage in Pinfluence Pipeline (Pipeline users). When you compose pins in Pipeline, we store the images you upload (including images exported from design tools such as Canva), the pin copy you enter or generate (title, description, alt text, destination link, board, tags, target keyword, and any schedule), and any prompts you save. If you connect an AI assistant to Pipeline over MCP, that assistant reads and writes your pin copy using your own account with that AI provider; we do not send your data to an AI provider ourselves.

2.2 Information we collect automatically when you use the Services

  • Usage data. Pages visited, features used, queries run, timestamps, browser and device information.
  • Server logs. IP addresses, request URLs, user-agent strings, referrers, response codes. Logs are retained for operational and security purposes and are auto-rotated.
  • Cookies and similar technologies. See our Cookie Notice for details.

2.3 Information we collect from public Pinterest® data

Pinfluence Discover collects publicly available Pinterest data through automated public-data collection. This data is not associated with you unless you specifically interact with it (search a keyword, track a domain, generate a Keyword Insight). The public Pinterest data in our research database is described in our Terms of Service.

The Pinfluence browser extension processes data inside your own browser and communicates only with our own APIs. Its specific practices are described in the Pinfluence Extension Privacy Policy.

3. How we use information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve the Services
  • Process payments and manage subscriptions
  • Generate analytics, reports, trend lines, and insights you’ve requested
  • Store the pins you stage in Pinfluence Pipeline and, when you ask, pre-fill them into Pinterest’s own pin builder in your browser (you always publish yourself)
  • Detect potential stolen-pin matches (Intel)
  • Communicate with you (account notifications, support replies, renewal reminders, billing receipts, occasional product updates)
  • Send marketing emails IF you’ve subscribed to our email list (unsubscribe in one click, every email)
  • Run our affiliate program (if you participate)
  • Comply with legal obligations
  • Protect against fraud, abuse, and security incidents

We do not sell your personal information. We do not rent your personal information.

4. Anonymized aggregate research

We may use anonymized and aggregated data derived from user-uploaded CSVs and Service usage to:

  • Publish Pinterest research articles on pinfluencing.com or elsewhere
  • Identify patterns in Pinterest behavior, ranking, and engagement
  • Improve and develop new features
  • Train internal computational models (not generative AI)
  • Power aggregated benchmarks and traffic estimates shown inside our products

Anonymized means individual users, accounts, pin URLs, and other identifying details cannot be determined from any published research or in-product estimate. We aggregate at the level of patterns, trends, and statistical signals, not individual accounts, and estimates shown to other users are only derived from data to which multiple accounts contribute. We maintain this derived data in de-identified form, we commit to never attempting to re-identify it, and we require the same of anyone we share it with. Aggregated statistics derived before an account’s deletion are retained — they no longer identify anyone.

If you object to your data being used in this anonymized form even with full anonymization, contact us at info@pinfluencing.com to opt out.
