Will anyone on Pinterest search for that product?

Before you film or write about the next product, type the product or the phrase a shopper would use and see the Pinterest® demand, plus the related phrases people type.

Why Amazon influencers check Pinterest first

A product video takes an hour to make and a minute to forget. Pinterest is different: a pin with the right title keeps sending clicks for months, and about 4 in 10 of the top-ranking pins we measured are more than a year old. The catch is the title has to be a phrase people type, and “amazon finds” (441,000 searches a month) and “amazon haul” are different searches from “things to buy on amazon”.

This tool tells you, before you film or write, whether anyone on Pinterest searches the product or the phrase, and which related phrases they use. It reads the Pinfluence index of 27 million+ Pinterest keywords with search volume; it never touches your Amazon account or Pinterest live.

How it works

Step 1

Type the product or the shopper’s phrase

“air fryer”, “stanley cup”, “dorm room essentials”, “amazon fall fashion”. The words a shopper would search, not the listing title.

Step 2

See the demand in ten seconds

A monthly search range, a plain verdict, and the three related phrases people type most. Nothing to sign up for.

Step 3

Get the full report by email

The exact number for your phrase, the five closest related keywords with their numbers, and every other phrase Pinterest links to the topic, so one product becomes five pins.

What we found for Amazon phrases

  • The big ones are big. “amazon finds” sits at 100K to 500K searches a month, “stanley cup” and “air fryer” above that; “amazon must haves” and “cozy fall outfits” are in the same band.
  • Niche phrases exist too. “amazon home finds”, “led strip lights”, “dorm room essentials” and “gift guide for her” all have their own Pinterest topic with related keywords attached.
  • Related keywords are the content plan. “amazon finds” links to Amazon Haul, What To Buy On Amazon, Amazon Wish List and Amazon Favorites: four more pins from one product video.

Questions influencers ask

Do I need a Pinterest business account for this?

No. The tool reads our index, not your account. You will want a Pinterest business account to publish, but checking demand needs nothing.

Can I check a brand name?

Yes. Brand names that people search (“stanley cup”, “ninja creami”) show up as topics. Brands nobody searches on Pinterest come back as “no figure yet”, which is also an answer.

Why is the number a range on the page?

Ranges are enough for a go or no-go call. The report email carries the exact monthly figure and the five closest related keywords with their numbers.

Is this a Pinterest or Amazon product?

No. Pinfluence is an independent tool and is not affiliated with Pinterest, Inc. or Amazon.
